What’s New & Upgraded in Version 2
⚡ DAZ Studio 4 & DAZ 6 Ready + Additive Sync
Native support for both major DAZ Studio generations. Content directories sync additively between versions — add a directory in DAZ Studio 4 and UPI v2 carries it over automatically when you open DAZ Studio 6, without wiping existing paths.
🚀 Extreme Performance Boost
Re-engineered from the ground up to handle massive libraries with millions of products. Large installations and database updates are faster, lighter, and more efficient than ever.
🔧 Pre-Import Smart Content Repair
Third-party products ship in wildly inconsistent structures. Before importing metadata, UPI v2 automatically repairs .dsx file structures and path formatting — eliminating DAZ Studio log warnings, metadata errors, and invisible purchases before they happen.
📁 New Directories Browser
Full visibility into your entire collection. Browse content by its actual folder structure, right alongside your product library, for total file management clarity.
🎯 Compatibility-Aware Browsing
Stop guessing what fits your scene. UPI v2 automatically filters assets on the fly, showing only products compatible with your currently selected scene item.
🖱 Power Drag-and-Drop
Merge products, reorganise files, relocate assets, and assign categories instantly — all with seamless drag-and-drop speed.
✏️ Batch Metadata Editing & Advanced Search
Edit shared metadata across multiple assets in one pass. Combine multi-condition search queries and effortlessly filter out duplicate or empty products.
🖼 Customisable Thumbnails
Auto-cropped previews, custom title displays, and independent thumbnail zooming right in the browser (Ctrl + Mouse Wheel).
⏸ Enhanced Progress Controls & Smart Pause/Cancel
Clear, stage-by-stage feedback across processing, database updates, DS synchronisation, and finalisation. The improved Pause/Cancel feature safely preserves all products installed prior to cancellation.
🔗 Embedded Browser & Quick Export
Double-click any asset to load it directly into DAZ Studio — or right-click to export products instantly wherever you need them.
